Partner Locator

B2B Product Design

Partner Locator tool is designed to help customers, resellers & distributors easily find and connect with the right partners within a complex ecosystem. However, the legacy version of the tool presented several UX and functionality challenges that hindered user experience and overall efficiency.

Challenges

  • Outdated UI: Diminishes trust and credibility

  • Lack of Personalization: Results in irrelevant partner matches & user drop-off

  • Shallow Partner Profiles: Slows down decision-making for users

  • Limited Search Capabilities: Frustrates users and increases bounce rates

Solutions

  • A redesigned, intuitive interface to build credibility and engagement

  • Personalized partner recommendations based on user needs and context

  • Richer partner profiles to support confident decision-making

  • Enhanced search functionality for more relevant, efficient results

Research, UX UI, Product Management

Designing the MVP

I started by designing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) focused on solving key user

pain points - improving search, enhancing partner profiles, and enabling personalized results.

This allowed us to quickly validate ideas, gather feedback, and align stakeholders before scaling further.

First Step

User type identification

Channel ecosystem

Stakeholder interviews

Competitor analysis

UX audit of the legacy tool

Research activities

User & Stakeholder

Research

Wireframes

I designed wireframes for two main user flows: a guided quiz for personalized partner matches and an advanced search

for users who prefer more control. These helped us quickly validate structure and flow before moving to visual design.

Second Step

UI Design

The UI design phase focused on a card-based layout, making partner profiles scannable,

visual, and easy to compare. This approach improved clarity and engagement across both user flows.

Third Step

Impact & Results

35%

Increasing Partner Profile's Views

28%

Boost in “Contact Partner” Clicks

40%

Improvement in Match Relevance

25%

Time to Match was Reduced
